About Me

Who am I?

I am passionate about ensuring my clients live a healthy, happy, and pain-free life.

To achieve this goal, I aims to help my clients recover quickly, by reducing pain immediately within their first visit. I was born in Ukraine and began professional weightlifting at an early age. I hold two national championships in the 52-kilogram category and became a Master of Sport in the Former USSR, which is known as the highest honor in sports. Sustaining bad injuries myself due to sport, I underwent therapy and was surprised at how much therapy helped me heal. Inspired by my own life, I studied Sports Medicine and
Rehabilitation in Ukraine before coming to the U.S. where I attended the Somerset School of Massage Therapy. Upon graduation, I became a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and obtained a license to practice massage and body work in New York and New Jersey.

My Experience

I have established two successful rehabilitation centers, opening Staten Island Center for Alternative Therapies in 2000 and Hands on Rehabilitation in 2006. I have successfully treated thousands of patients in my 30 years of practice using the latest manual techniques. At both businesses, I am the practice manager and lead massage therapist, where I customize treatment plans designed to restore function, speed recovery, and achieve the specific goals of each of my patients. Other techniques include joint mobilization and stretching.
