Prenatal Massage
Certified technique. Careful positioning. Real relief for second and third trimester bodies.
Prenatal massage is a specific certification for a reason. Positioning, pressure, and the areas we avoid all change through the trimesters, and a generic massage is not the right call when you are pregnant. I am certified in prenatal and postnatal work and see clients throughout the second and third trimesters, as well as after delivery.
Most of my prenatal clients come in for low-back, hip, and sciatic pain relief, and to decompress after long days of carrying everything the body is being asked to carry. Sessions use a side-lying setup with bolstering rather than a pregnancy-pillow face-down position, which is gentler on the lumbar spine.
Conditions addressed
- Sciatic and SI-joint pain in pregnancy
- Lumbar and glute tension from postural shift
- Swelling and circulation support in the legs
- Postpartum neck and shoulder tension from feeding
Who this is for
- Expectant mothers in the second and third trimesters
- Postpartum clients cleared by their OB
- First-time parents looking for safe, certified bodywork
Available at both studios.
Call the location closest to you and we will get you on the calendar. Evenings and Saturdays fill first.
